Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences

The Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences comprises six educational institutions:

  • Institute of Geoecology and Geoinformation
  • Institute of Geology
  • Institute of Physical Geography and Environmental Planning
  • Institute of Socio-Economic Geography and Spatial Management
  • Department of Tourism and Leisure

The Faculty boasts the most extensive offer of geoscience programs in Poland, and offers a vast range of subjects taught in foreign languages. The modern buildings located at the Morasko Campus house computer rooms and laboratories, digital map archives and a library. The Faculty operates several field stations, including that on Spitsbergen – AMU Polar Station "Petuniabukta".
