We want to invite you to participate in our upcoming Culture Vultures event.
Tying in with the 60th anniversary of Alan Shepard’s flight, the Culture Vultures reading club invites everyone to another presentation on US manned space flight programmes. During a previous meeting (in May 2021), we went through the Mercury, the Gemini, and all the Apollo programme flights leading up to and resulting in the first landing on the Moon (Apollo 11). The upcoming meeting will focus on the Apollo missions that followed once the goal of “landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to Earth” had been achieved (Apollo 12 through Apollo-Soyuz). With dozens of photos from NASA and commentary by Grzegorz Michalski.
