Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, is launching a series of meetings on Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL). Researchers from AMU will have the opportunity to acquire knowledge in the area of internationalisation.
This Friday, October 24, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., EPiC EduTalk&Café will be held. Participants will receive tips on designing COIL courses, practical advice and organisational solutions, as well as the opportunity to exchange experiences within and outside the EPICUR alliance.
An open online conference, “COIL – an innovative path to internationalisation in academic teaching,” is scheduled for November 6, inaugurating a series of COIL training sessions at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. The event will start at 8:30 a.m. and last until 1:30 p.m. The program of the November conference includes presentations by international experts and practical examples of implementations from various disciplines. Special guests of the event will be:
Prof. Jos Beelen – leader of the Global Learning Research Team, The Hague University of Applied Sciences (Netherlands);
Prof. Robert O'Dowd – COIL researcher and practitioner, University of León (Spain);
Dr Małgorzata Kurek – expert and long-time training officer at UNICollaboration, Jan Długosz University in Częstochowa.
