The Perspektywy Educational Foundation and Intel, as part of their long-standing partnership to increase the participation of women in the new technologies industry, are launching the second edition of a scholarship programme for women in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
The scholarship programme is addressed to Ukrainian female students, PhD students and high school graduates (starting their technical studies in autumn 2023) studying in Poland who are in a challenging financial/living situation due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The programme consists of:
- a 10-month financial grant of PLN 12,000 gross (paid in two instalments),
- technical and soft skills workshops with Intel Technology Poland experts,
- career counselling sessions and participation in the mentoring Buddies Programme,
Applications for the "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" programme are open to:
- Ukrainian-origin female students and PhD students studying STEM at Polish technical universities and colleges.
- Ukrainian-origin female high school graduates starting their studies in STEM fields in the academic year 2023/2024,
- Applicants should have a communicative knowledge of English,
- have student/doctoral status for the whole of the following academic year,
- attach a certificate from their university confirming their student/doctoral status.
Recruitment to the "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" programme is in two stages and consists of the following parts:
- STAGE I (from 14 June to 25 August 2023) - acceptance of online applications through the electronic form on the Project website and formal verification of applications.
- STAGE II (until 8 September 2023) - selection of 50 successful candidates through competition of applications.
Entries to the programme are accepted until 25 August 2023.
