Report on the role of Artificial Intelligence in the University's development approved by the European Commission

In September 2025, the European Commission approved report D3.1, “Report on available data sources, recommendations regarding the scope of the platform, schema of access rights for users in the created system and intelligent search methods,” prepared as part of the international Horizon Europe project “A University Partnership for Acceleration of European Universities” implemented at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science.

It is a crucial stage in the project, bringing together academic partners from France, Spain, Germany, Poland, and Italy, aimed at developing the Agora platform to support cooperation between universities and research institutions. The document was created within Work Package 3 (WP3), for which the Poznan team is responsible, and constitutes a milestone in the system architecture development process – it defines the available database, user access rules, and the role of intelligent search methods based on artificial intelligence in the system.

In its review, the EC rated the report as “excellent” and beyond the original project scope, highlighting its thorough analysis of data sources and advanced use of artificial intelligence technology. The experts noted that the document makes a significant contribution to defining the technical infrastructure, access strategy, and potential configurations of the Agora platform, which supports the transformation of higher education institutions. The D3.1 report was also recognised for its high substantive quality and compliance with the objectives of the Horizon Europe program.

The full report is available on the Zenodo platform.
