On 20 October 2025, the call for applications for the 10th edition of the BESTStudentGRANT competition officially began.
First-year students of first-cycle studies and long-cycle Master's studies at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, who have achieved the best results in the extended secondary school leaving examination (90% or more) or the best results from the foreign secondary school leaving examination (90% or more after conversion to the Polish secondary school leaving examination) and do not hold a Bachelor's, Engineer's or Master's degree, are eligible to participate in the competition.
As part of the competition, the winners will receive grants for the implementation of individual student research projects.
Up to PLN 5,000 can be awarded in the competition.
Grant recipients have the opportunity to use the awarded amount to finance participation in domestic and international conferences, workshops and seminars, cover the costs of translation or proofreading of articles prepared in a foreign language, as well as purchase literature and software. A fee for the grant recipient is also provided.
Applications can be submitted until 21 November 2025 via the ID-UB Proposals application system https://idub.amu.edu.pl (after logging in, select the New proposal tab – Competition No. 202 BESTStudentGRAND – X edition).
