AMU Welcome Centre invites you to join the 3rd AMU Welcome to Poznan event, on November 18th, to mark the International Day of Islamic Art proclaimed at the 40th session of the UNESCO General Conference in 2019. It aims to raise awareness of past and contemporary artistic expressions of Islam, and the contribution of culture through Islamic Art to civilization.
We are taking you to the Cultural and Educational Muslim Center and the only mosque in Poznan. Our host will be imam dr. Youssef Chadid, the President of the Principal Council of the Muslim League in Poland. We are going to see the art gallery, learn about community projects of the Muslim Center and explore the Prayer Room.
