Step by Step - Online Enrollment System

Recruitment fee is 85 PLN

You can pay it from the Online Admissions System.

STEP 1

Fill the online application

Register in the Online Admissions System (OAS) – specify financial conditions based on which you are applying to AMU.

Please, pay special attention to the spelling of your given name and surname – it MUST match the spelling in your passport.  Please, provide an accurate address to be able to receive all correspondence from AMU.

STEP 2

Attach your documents, photos, certificates

BA programs and long-cycle studies (5-year programs)

Attach the required documents, a photo of good quality and foreign school certificate in line with the requirements. AMU Department of Education must compute your scores.

If you have taken the Polish, Belarusian or Ukrainian Matura exam, please enter your results in the Online Admissions System (OAS). For some programmes you might be required to take additional exams. Information about this can be found under the selected programme in the programme catalogue. Admission subcommittee will notify you about the exact day and time of the exam. Remember to pay the enrollment fee.

MA programs

Attach the required documents and foreign diploma in line with the requirements. AMU Department of Education must compute your scores.

If you hold a diploma from a Polish university, please enter the grade in the Online Admissions System. Some programmes require taking additional exams. Admission subcommittee will notify you about the exact day and time of the exam. Remember to pay the enrollment fee. Please, read the admission schedule carefully – key dates are listed for each programme. During the enrollment process, candidates do not submit any paper documents.

STEP 3

Selection procedure

BA programs and  long-cycle studies (5-year programs)

List of candidates selected for admission. A Candidate selected for admission is obliged to submit all required documents within the specified deadline and upon doing so is expected to take up the studies in the programme. Failure to submit the required documents within the specified deadline means the candidate opts out of taking up the studies.

During the enrollment process, candidates do not submit any documents in physical form.

If you changed your mind and do not wish to take up studies in a particular programme, click “resign” so that other candidates have a chance to be selected.

A candidate not selected for admission may submit, within the specified time limit, a statement on willingness to take up the studies. The statement is submitted electronically via the Online Admissions System. Decision to deny admission will be sent to you by post.

MA programs

Results of selection procedure will be posted in the Online Admissions System. Upon logging into his/her account, the candidate will see information on admission or denial of admission.

STEP 4

Final admission

Admitted candidates receive a decision on admission to a given programme.

Please, read the admission schedule carefully – key dates are listed for each programme in the programme catalogue.

In the catalogue, you can also find information about the type of selection procedure and exams, if any are required.

  • Calculating the results of selection procedure

The basis for the order on the selection lists is the score calculated based on the Matura exam/ its foreign equivalents or grades on the diploma. Scores based on foreign documents are calculated on an individual basis.

Computation methods used to determine the selection results depend on the admitting unit and type of programme for which rules on specific subjects considered during selection, the number of subjects and weights are established.

For some programmes you might be required to take additional exams. Information about this can be found under the selected programme in the programme catalogue.

The recruitment fee (85zł) is reimbursed only when:

  • you have made an overpayment, i.e. you have paid more than the required fee,
  • a course of study has not been launched,
  • you resigned from enrollment before the registration deadline set for a given course of study,
  • you made the payment after the registration deadline for a given course of study, which means you are not taken into account during the recruitment process.

The enrollment fee is not refundable in case of refusal of admission to studies. The recruitment fee is refunded when you apply through Internet Recruitment System.

If during your studies you have acquired a document that entitles you to free full-time studies in Polish, then write to us by e-mail amuoes@amu.edu.pl a request to change and attach scans of documents.
