Having successfully passed the international evaluation process, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan was awarded the prestigious quality seal of the European University Association (EUA). It is the largest organization associating universities in Europe.

AMU is the first comprehensive university in Poland to succesfully undergo this evaluation.

There were two EUA evaluation visits in 2020. The second one – due to the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic – was organized online. The evaluation report with recommendations was submitted to the university on February 17, 2021.

The Team that conducted the evaluation process particularly appreciated the newly reformed structure of the University. The Team’s recognition was also given to the university’s infrastructure, study and career opportunities for students as well as-cooperation mechanisms with the local community and beyond.

The EUA-IEP quality seal increases the university’s visibility in the European higher education area and fosters international cooperation. AMU will be able to use it for the next 5 years.
