Rector's Representative for Equal Treatment
There is a Rector's Representative for Equal Treatment at AMU. The function is currently carried out by Prof Robert Kmieciak.
The representative chairs the Anti-Discrimination Committee, which deals with cases of unequal treatment based on, among others, gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnic origin, religion, political views or trade union membership.
The Commissioner's work is guided by the fundamental principle of equality in the legal system, the pro-equality standards developed in the academic community and the obligations arising from the university's adoption of the European Charter for Researchers.
