Dear All,
On the occasion of the upcoming Christmas holidays, the Libraries of the AMU Organisational Units invite you to join us in a charitable donation collection for the Association for Children with Complex Disabilities "Potrafię więcej". Our Christmas campaign will run from 6th to 16th December 2022.
The association takes care of children and young people with cerebral palsy, congenital weaknesses of the nervous system, the blind and visually impaired, intellectual disabilities and delayed psychomotor development. As part of its activities, the association runs early childhood development support classes and a daycare centre for young people, organises preschool classes, supports the education of children and young people, and runs therapeutic courses for parents.
For the children under the care of "Potrafię więcej" we collect:
- finger batteries (AA and AAA)
- finger paints
- fixing compound for lightweight objects
- plasticine
- Coloured sheets of paper with texture (glitter, corrugated paper)
- orange A4 and A5 binders
- mouse correctors
- glue gun and refills
- A3 corkboard
- we also collect rice, beans, groats, peas and more
- coffee, tea and biscuits for parents
- sensory toys
Donations can be brought to the collection points located in the faculty libraries of AMU during the opening hours of the selected libraries.
