On 5–6 February, the Collegium Polonicum in Słubice will host the 26th International Scientific Conference in the series "Europe in the 21st Century." The event is organised by the AMU Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, the Centre for European Research and Education, and the Collegium Polonicum in Słubice.
This year's edition, entitled "The resilience of Europe, the European Union and its member states to security threats. Current situation and scenarios for the future", will bring together 160 participants from Poland, Ukraine, Germany, Kazakhstan and other European countries. The presentations will focus on the key challenges facing contemporary Europe, including international security, energy transition, migration, academic freedom, disinformation, and the future of European integration.
The "Europe in the 21st Century" conference is the longest-running regular academic event dedicated to European issues in Poland. For 26 years, it has provided a platform for the exchange of ideas among academics, politicians, journalists, and experts addressing the challenges facing the Old Continent.
