The Celtic Studies Research Unit cordially invites everyone to the International Dylan Thomas Day (Dylan Day) celebrations, which will take place on Thursday 12 May 2022 between 16:45-20.00 in room 211, Collegium Heliodori.
As part of the Dylan Day at the Faculty of English Dr Karolina Rosiak will give a short lecture on the life, works and legacy of Dylan Thomas. The lecture will be followed by a screening of the 2015 film adaptation of Under Milk Wood (dir. Kevin Allen).
The Dylan Day is an annual event to celebrate the life and work of the Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. It is held internationally on the 14th May – the anniversary of the first reading of Under Milk Wood on stage at 92Y The Poetry Center, New York in 1953.
