Event date:

Mental Health Day AMU

In 1992, the World Health Organisation established 10 October as World Mental Health Day. The WHO defines mental health as a person's physical, mental, and social well-being, as well as the capacity for development and self-realisation. Although it is still an often overlooked aspect of our lives, let us keep this year's celebration's slogan close at heart: "Mental health is a universal human right"!

To meet the needs of students, staff and Alumni of Adam Mickiewicz University, the AMU Psychological Development and Support and the Support Office for Persons with Disabilities are organising a Mental Health Day event at AMU on Wednesday, 25 October.

Workshops, lectures and sports activities for English and Ukrainian speakers will be held at the Morasko campus and AMU sports facilities.

To enable all students and academic staff to participate in the event, Her Magnificence Professor Bogumiła Kaniewska has decided to declare Rector's hours from 9:30 a.m. until the end of the day. Other employees may attend the events with the awareness of their supervisors.
