With the time of Carnival Parties fast approaching, we would love to give our international students and staff the unique opportunity to learn the basics of the most popular Polish dances with our regional Folk Ensemble "Wielkopolanie"! We are offering 3 consecutive dancing workshops organized together by the Fundacja 1Uniwersytet and AMU Welcome Centre: 29 November, 2 December, 7 December, always from 17:00 until 19:00 . You can choose all of them to improve your skills or only one or two.
You can expect to quickly learn some of the most well-known traditional Polish dances, such as: Polonez, Kujawiak, Mazurek, Oberek and others. Your dance instructors from the Folk Ensemble "Wielkopolanie" will not only guide you through your paces, but will also present traditional dance costumes and let you try some of them on!
