With the start of the new academic year, Adam Mickiewicz University reopened the Polish language course at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
For the 2022/2023 academic year, nearly one hundred AUTh students have shown an interest in taking the Polish language and Polish culture courses offered by AMU. As a result of great popularity, three-course groups were created. Two of them were formed for beginners and one for continuing Polish language learners who became fascinated with Poland thanks to our courses last year. A total of 50 students have started the programme.
The courses are taught by lecturers from the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for International Students.
This is another semester of AMU's presence in Thessaloniki.
The programme has become a permanent feature in the cooperation between the Adam Mickiewicz University, Aristotle University and the Polish Embassy in Athens. Last year, the project received NAWA funding. This year the project is being carried out with financing from the AMU.
