A graduation ceremony is a unique event that not only provides an opportunity to summarize years of studying but also opens up new career and educational possibilities.
This year, for the first time, the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation in Poznan is organizing a solemn ceremony for graduates of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
We cordially invite you to participate in this historic event.
The dates of the Graduation Ceremony, along with specified dates, times, and indications of faculties and fields for which the ceremony is taking place, are indicated in the schedule.
SCHEDULE FOR THE GRADUATION CEREMONY
Registration for the Graduation Ceremony started on April 3rd and will last until April 30th. Details and the registration form can be found on the absolutoriumuam.pl website.

The cost of participation in this year's event is PLN 150.
Student can cancel their participation in the Graduation Ceremony. There is a 14-day period to withdraw from the purchased ticket. The funds will be returned to the payer's account.
The amount of 150 PLN consists of the following elements:
The academic gowns are borrowed from female and male students for the duration of the Absolutorium ceremony.
The gowns are loaned to the students for the duration of the graduation ceremony and their size depends solely on their height (the length is adjusted accordingly, but otherwise they are universal and suitable for everyone).
S – (130cm – 140cm) gown size – ideal for a height of 158cm
M – (140cm – 146cm) gown size – ideal for a height of 162cm
L – (152cm) – ideal for a height of 170cm
XL – (170cm -176cm) gown size – ideal for a height of 176cm
XXL – (182cm – 190cm) gown size – ideal for a height above 180cm
The purchased cap is a souvenir and the graduates can take it home with them. It is necessary to indicate the size of the cap at the registration.
S - head circumference: 53-54 cm
M - head circumference: 55-56 cm
L - head circumference: 57-58 cm
XL - head circumference: 59-60 cm
XXL - head circumference: 61-63 cm
INVITATIONS
The number of invitations for accompanying persons depends on the number of registered graduates at the graduation ceremony. This number will be known after the registration deadline. Therefore, the number of invitations for each student will be announced at the beginning of May. We assume:
- Graduation ceremony with up to 150 graduates – 4 invitations
- Graduation ceremony with 150-250 participants - 3 invitations
- Graduation ceremony with over 250 participants - 2 invitations.
PROFESSIONAL PHOTO SESSION
During the graduation ceremony, graduates will have the opportunity to have professional portrait photos taken by a professional photographer at the Adam Mickiewicz University Hall.
Individual, family, and group portraits will be available. The photos will be printed and framed with an elegant passe-partout featuring the university's gold logo. The price for such a professional photo session starts at 50 PLN per framed photo. The photographer will be available throughout the entire day of the graduation ceremony.
This year, the rehearsals will not be organized in a physical/stationary form.
Participants will be informed about the course and technical organization of the ceremony through the "Course of the Ceremony" tab. These details will be continuously updated (with appropriate advance notice) to reflect the precise expectations of the faculty and student community representatives.
