Michalina Kowala, a PhD student at the Department of European Law, represented the Faculty of Law and Administration and Poland at the Young Researchers' Day for Intellectual Property Studies, organised by the Institut de la Recherche en Propriété Intelectuelle at the University of Grenoble on 4 October 2023.
While presenting her paper 'Droit Voisin des éditeurs de presse, l'accès à l'information et pluralisme des médias' (The right of press publishers, access to information and pluralism of the media), Ms Kowala discussed the conclusions of her research on the introduction of the right of press publishers in the context of protecting media pluralism and access to information.
Ms Kowala prepared for the event under the supervision of Professor Katarzyna Klafkowska-Waśniowska and the assistant supervisor, Professor Audrey Lebois of Nantes Université.
