A Dual degree programme in Polish as a foreign language is getting closer

On the 25th of September, the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology hosted a delegation from Xi'an International Studies University. The objective of the meeting was to sign a letter of intent and a cooperation agreement on dual degree programmes in Polish as a foreign language.

The meeting was chaired by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, prof. Rafał Witkowski; the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology, Prof. Tomasz Mizerkiewicz, and Vice-Dean for National and International Cooperation of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology, Prof. Krystyna Pieniążek-Marković.

The Chinese university was represented by the Secretary of XISU, Prof. Bai Li, Director of the Department of International Affairs of XISU, Prof. Jing Nan, Dean of the Faculty of European Studies of XISU, and Prof. Zhang Shisheng.

Xi'an International Studies University is another Chinese university partnered with the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology. The meeting featured five XISU students who will be starting their studies with us this academic year, majoring in Polish as a foreign language. We are delighted to see the degree programmes offered by the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology gaining widespread popularity abroad.
