On November 29, the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań and the CETYS Universidad of Baja California in Mexico, signed an agreement on bilateral partnership. AMU was represented by the Vice-Rector, prof. Rafał Witkowski, and CETYS by the head of the university r. Fernando Leon Garcia.
Before signing the contract, Rector Garcia also met with the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University, prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska. The meeting was also attended by prof. Marek Kręglewski, and discussed the prospects of future collaboration, as well as issues related to the post-Covid era.
The agreement allows students of AMU and CETYS Universidad to pursue partial studies as part of academic exchange at a partner university, including e-mobility within the EPICUR consortium. The agreement also provides for scientific collaboration between the two universities, exchange of expertise, conducting joint research and research internships, as well as the joint organization of conferences and symposia.
AMU has signed over 300 bilateral agreements with various universities around the world.
