The AMU scored the highest rating in the implementation of measures for Goal 10 - Tackling Inequalities, with a position of 201-300 globally. Quality of education (Goal 4) is an area where AMU scored 801-1000 globally and 5th-6th nationally.
The ranking also evaluated AMU in Goal 13 - Climate Protection (position 401-600) and Goal 17 - Partnerships for Sustainable Development (401-600).
THE Impact Rankings is the only ranking that assesses universities through the lens of the implementation of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals adopted by UN member states as part of Transforming Our World: 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. More than 1,600 universities were assessed in this year's classification.
The top three overall global rankings were: Western Sydney University, Arizona State University, and Western University Canada.
