The event is organised by the AMU Astronomical Observatory Institute, the National Centre for Nuclear Research, and the AMU Foundation.
Building on the success of previous meetings in the United Kingdom, Serbia, France, Italy, Croatia and La Palma (Canary Islands), this year's edition in Poznań is a milestone for the Vera C. Rubin Observatory community.
The event will last until 19 September and follows a hybrid format, featuring both in-person and online sessions.
As part of the conference, James Robinson from the University of Edinburgh will deliver an open lecture entitled "Asteroids, Comets and the Legacy Survey of Space and Time: Unlocking the Secrets of the Solar System with Survey Astronomy."
