AMU in the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025

In the second edition of the QS World University Rankings: Europe 2025, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań was ranked 15th in the Eastern European region. By contrast, considering the entire continent, AMU was ranked 258th.

The ranking is open to institutions from member states of the Council of Europe. The ranking was based on the following criteria: Research and Discovery (45%), Global Engagement (25%), Employability and Outcomes (20%), Learning Experience (5%), Sustainability (5%). The ranking includes 684 universities in 42 European locations, including 32 universities from Poland.

EUROPE

European universities on the podium were as follows: ETH Zurich - Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, Imperial College London, University of Oxford.

In the European ranking, AMU performed best in terms of the International Research Network indicator representing international research partnerships resulting in publications (136th place) and in terms of the Faculty Student Ratio (146th place), Inbound Exchange Students (153rd place), and Sustainability (190th place).

POLAND

In Poland, the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań ranked 4th behind the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University and the Warsaw University of Technology.

Compared to Polish universities, AMU is distinguished by the indicators: International Faculty Ratio (2nd in Poland), International Research Network (2nd), Citations per Paper (3rd), Academic Reputation (4th), International Student Diversity (4th) and Sustainability (4th).
