Last Sunday, 12 January, the traditional AMU New Year's Concert was held in the AMU Auditorium. We encourage you to get a closer look at the photo report from the event.
The concert was performed by the University's artistic ensembles: the Academic Choir of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, conducted by Beata Bielska, the Chamber Choir of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, under the baton of Krzysztof Szydzisz and Joanna Piech-Slawecka, and the Chamber Orchestra of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, led by Aleksander Gref.
The programme included classical masterpieces such as waltzes, suites and chamber music, as well as popular music compositions, including unforgettable songs by Queen or Michael Jackson. In the second part of the concert, the audience was introduced into a reflective mood thanks to the performance of the pastoral oratorio ‘"Wołaniem wołam Cię" ("With a shout I call you") by Zbigniew Kozub to the touching lyrics of Ernest Bryll. The performance was enriched by excellent soloists, instrumental arrangements and emotional choral interpretations.
