We are pleased to announce that a student of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology and the President of the Scientific Club of Slavonic and Balkan Studies at the AMU, Jakub Gierszał, won third place in the international translation competition 'Transformations 2023' for his translation of the poem 'Летен ден' by Elisaveta Bagriana into Polish.
It is worth mentioning that as many as 183 students participated in this edition of the contest, including representatives of 11 universities from Bulgaria and 33 universities from other countries.
The event was organised, by the Philological Faculty of the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Veliko Tarnovo (Bulgaria).
