An index of the world's best universities has been published. In the annual ranking issued by QS, our University was promoted to 731-740th place. Additionally, AMU was ranked 4th in the country behind the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University and Warsaw University of Technology.
The highest score AMU received in the area of building international research networks. The indicator assesses the sustainability and diversity of international research partnerships. It considers the origin of the partners and the number of papers published jointly. Within this index, AMU ranked 247th in the world.
The Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ranking is one of the most prestigious and recognisable rankings worldwide. It evaluates universities through the following indicators: reputation in academia (30%), number of citations (20%), reputation among employers (15%), faculty-to-student ratio (10%), as well as foreign faculty, international students, evaluation of International research networks, graduate employment and sustainability (5% each).
In this year's edition, 1,500 universities were ranked, including 22 from Poland.
