In December 2023, the Border and Regional Studies Research Group was launched at the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism.
Established within the framework of the Central European Exchange Programme for University Studies, the network brings together 17 universities located in 10 countries in Central Europe and the Balkans. It joins partners whose research and educational interests are focused on border and regional issues. The network’s thematic framework will address one of the crucial problems and challenges of the XXI century, especially migrations, multi-ethnic societies, revitalization of regional identities, border crossing and border revitalization, and quality of governance at the local and regional levels.
On behalf of AMU, the project will involve:
