Celebrating this year's Nobel Prize for Literature

The work of Korean writer Han Kang resounded today at AMU's Lubrański Hall during a unique literary and artistic event

"Han Kang's success joins the list of South Korea's many successes. We often discuss with students that we do not need to be concerned about the promotion of Korea because usually, Koreans can do something that attracts worldwide interest,” said Prof. Grażyna Strnad of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism.

The event attendees had the chance to listen to literary achievements, admire the mesmerizing Korean dance with fans, enjoy the energetic rhythm of traditional drums and many other performances.

The organizers were the AMU Research Center for Public Engagement of Womenistics AMU Faculty of Ethnolingu, Hwangsae Koreanist Club 황새 - 한국어문학과 대학생의 동아리, 해어화, Haeeohwa - Korean Fan Dance Team, and the Polish Korean Society.
