On 7th of June, 2021, a new bilateral cooperation agreement has been signed between Adam Mickiewicz University and Tashkent State Law University. The signing ceremony took place online.
It was the first official meeting of AMU and TSUL authorities:
Rector Bogumiła Kaniewska, Vice-rector for international cooperation Rafał Witkowski, Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration Tomasz Nieborak and Head of International Office Joanna Barszcz from AMU and Rector Rakhim Rasuljanovich Khakimov, Dilshod Marufovich Umarov (Vice-rector for International Cooperation and Continuing Education), Dildora Gayratovna Kamalova (Dean of the Faculty of Criminal Justice) and Oybek Bakhramovich Yakubov (Head of the International Cooperation Department) from TSUL.
The Parties have agreed to exchange experience, organize consultations and reciprocal visits and deliver lectures by representative of both universities; foster participation in conferences and symposia by young academics; organize joint educational programs; facilitate exchange of academics and students; cooperate in the exchange of publications and scientific information.
The cooperation has been established on the initiative of a Lane Kirkland Fellow who has spent his sholarship year at AMU.
