According to yesterday's decision of the National Science Centre, eight young scientists and students from Ukraine, working with AMU, received special scholarships from the National Science Centre.
The main objective of the fellowship programme is to financially support people from Ukraine who have taken or will take, refuge in our country as a result of the Russian aggression against Ukraine by providing them with the opportunity to continue their studies, work on their master's thesis or dissertation, or pursue other, arbitrary forms of education at Polish scientific institutions.
The programme is financed by the Bilateral Cooperation Fund in the Basic Research programme, whose operator in the 3rd edition of the Norwegian and EEA funds for 2014-2021 is the National Science Centre.
Let us remind You that this is the second distribution of NCS scholarships for scientists and students from Ukraine. In the first one, those working with AMU received three grants, bringing the total to 11 scholarship recipients.
We hope that the financial grants awarded will have a positive result on the scientific development of the scholarship holders.
