Erasmus Mundus SERP+ students during the graduation ceremony

On 28 August, Paris-Saclay University held a graduation ceremony for students of the prestigious Erasmus Mundus SERP+ programme. Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, a partner in the consortium, was represented by the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Rafał Witkowski, Prof. Tomasz Piątek, and Dr. Piotr Filipiak from the AMU Faculty of Chemistry.

The event was an excellent opportunity to highlight the programme's success, receiving European Union funding for the next five years. Thanks to this, in January 2026, the AMU Faculty of Chemistry will host a further ten students from around the world, continuing its mission in the realm of international education.

The master's programme was established in 2008 and has been awarded the Erasmus Mundus label three times in 2010, 2016, 2019 and 2024. Since then, almost 300 students from over 50 different countries have joined the programme.

SERP is a long-standing partnership among four European universities: Paris-Saclay University in France (UPSaclay), the University of Genoa in Italy (UniGe), Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland (AMU), and the University of Porto in Portugal (U.Porto). Starting in 2025, McGill University in Canada will join the consortium as a new partner.
