Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology and its researchers featured in the foreign press

Our Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology and its researchers have recently been featured in the foreign press.

In the journal 'Aula Magna' published by the Manipal Academy of Higher Education in India, a description of the Croatian and Polish Film Festival organised in April occurred. Let us remind you that the festival was organised on the initiative of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology's Vice-Dean for National and International Cooperation, Prof. Krystyna Pieniążek-Marković, and Dr Adam Domalewski from the Film, Media and Audiovisual Arts Institute.

In addition, the blog 'The Book Haven', run by Slavist, literary critic and student Yosif Brodsky Cynthia Haven from Stanford University, featured an extensive account of a meeting on translations of Seneca's 'Hercules the Mad' held in May this year. Dana Gioia, the author of the English translation, Professor Mateusz Stróżyński of the Institute of Classical Philology, and the author of the Polish translation participated in the discussion back then. The debate was moderated by classical philologist Jaspreet Singh Boparai.
