On 6th December, focus groups for the Ukrainian people who arrived in Poland after 24th February 2022 were held in three rounds.
The purpose of the event was to allow participants to share their stories and listen to their needs and the general situation of refugees in our country in a friendly atmosphere over small refreshments.
The meeting also provided a tremendous opportunity to meet new people with similar backgrounds.
For the participants' greater comfort, the groups were conducted in Ukrainian or Russian by Ukrainian female refugees, as needed.
The focus group project is part of the IRC's Protection Monitoring programme. The data collected during the meeting is an integral part of IRC reports published online about the situation of refugees in Poland. The reach of the reports is up to several hundred thousand readers.
