The conference "Foreign Students in Poland", co-organized by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland, Wrocław University of Life Sciences, "Perspektywy" Educational Foundation and the City of Wrocław, under the honorary patronage of the Minister of Education and Science, will be held in Wrocław from March 31st to April 1st, 2022.
The conference concerned the challenges for the internationalisation of HEIs in Poland, especially in the context of Russia's invasion of Ukraine and support for the Ukrainian academic community.
During the conference, the Internationalization Stars Awards 2022 awards were also presented, which this year in the 'Management' category went to the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of UAM, Prof. Rafał Witkowski. In the justification for the award, the chapter pointed out the merits of the Vice-Rector in strengthening academic cooperation through the European University EPICUR initiative.
