We invite all Adam Mickiewicz University students and alumni to participate in Google News Initiative Student Fellowship (GNI Student Fellowship) which provides paid internships in two Polish newsrooms - Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Wysokie Obcasy Magazine.
The Google News Initiative Student Fellowship offers paid summer placements to journalism, technology, multimedia, and design students as well as recent graduates who want to gain valuable work experience and build a professional network. This is a unique opportunity that can allow you to kick-start a career in the news industry.
Applications for the 2022 GNI Student Fellowship in Europe are now open. They are offering 30 placements across 14 countries.
At one glance:
- In Poland, there are 2 newsrooms hosting Fellows: Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Wysokie Obcasy Magazine.
- As of now, applicants still have good chances to get a spot for both newsrooms.
- You become part of one of the 30 participating newsrooms between June and September 2022.
- You are paid by your host organisation for 8 weeks of full-time work and to cover expenses. You receive a minimum of €2,500; the exact amount will be at the discretion of the news organisation and varies from country to country.
- You will be trained through hands-on workshops during avirtual bootcamp, meet other Fellows and alumni.
