Guests from Indonesia visited AMU

On Tuesday, October 15th, Adam Mickiewicz University (AMU) had the honour of welcoming a delegation from Universitas Brawijaya, a partner university in Indonesia. The delegation included:

  • Professor Anang Sujoko, Dean of the Faculty of Social and Political Science,
  • Juwita Hayyuning Prastiwi, Head of the Political Science Undergraduate Program,
  • Restu Karlina Rahayu, Head of the Government Studies Undergraduate Program and
  • Mely Noviryani, from the International Relations Undergraduate Program.

The visit marked the signing of an addendum to the 2018 cooperation agreement, which has now been extended. The delegation was accompanied by Ms Daria Zozula, PhD, from AMU's Department of Korean Literature and Culture and Indonesian-Malaysian Philology.

The International Relations Centre employees, consisting of Ms Natalia Labiak, Ms Zofia Bronikowska, Mr Paweł Sowa and Mr Kostiantyn Mazur, PhD, presented the university and the city of Poznań to the guests at the Welcome Centre. They provided detailed information on bilateral student exchange.

In addition to the bilateral student exchange, the representatives of Universitas Brawijaya expressed interest in study visits and the possibility of a dual degree programme. To further discuss these prospects, they headed to the Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures, meeting with Prof. Agnieszka Błażek (Vice-Dean for Organisational Affairs, Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures) and Prof. Agnieszka Stępińska (Vice-Dean for Projects and International Cooperation, Faculty of Political Science and Journalism).
