On 4–5 December 2025, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, hosted a two-day Nature Portfolio workshop entitled "Getting Published Workshops: Effectively Communicating Your Research."

Nearly 200 people representing almost every field of science at AMU have registered to participate. The attendees are primarily doctoral students and doctors, but master's students, postdoctoral researchers and professors have also declared their involvement.

"Our University wants to create the best possible conditions for the scientific work of our researchers. The ability to publish effectively in highly regarded journals around the globe makes it possible to announce research results, engage in dialogue and influence the development of global science. I am convinced that it is worth taking advantage of the knowledge and experience of the Nature group, whose journals are among the world's leading publications," says Prof. Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk, Vice-Rector for Research.

The programme covers the most relevant topics related to the preparation and publication of scientific articles:

  • principles of transparent and effective academic writing,
  • creating a solid introduction, methodology, and presentation of results,
  • preparing legible and influential graphics,
  • developing effective titles, keywords and abstracts,
  • selecting the most appropriate journal and strategies for effective article submission,
  • navigating the editorial and review processes, including responses to reviewers' comments and enhancing the
  • visibility of published work.

The workshops are led by experts from Nature Portfolio. They aim to increase the effectiveness of AMU researchers in publishing their research results in prestigious scientific journals.

The workshops are held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Collegium Politicum auditorium at Morasko Campus (ul. Uniwersytetu Poznańskiego 5).
