On 14 March, the first meeting of the Economic Council of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, in the new term 2024-2028 was held.
The Council is an advisory board to the Rector, supporting the university in its cooperation with the economic environment, scientific research, joint projects and the organisation of internships and placements for students and doctoral students.
- It also assists in the creation of new study fields required by the economy - adds the Vice-Rector for Digitization and Business Cooperation, Prof. Michał Banaszak, the Council's Chairman.
During the first meeting, Prof. Michał Banaszak presented the appointments to the members of the University Economic Council and reported on the activities undertaken by AMU in relation to the economic environment.
- The Economic Council for the 2024-2028 term will be composed as follows:

- Dr. Dariusz Michalak - Vice-President of the Management Board of Solaris Bus & Coach sp. z o.o.
- Maciej Nowakowski - Deputy Director of Geology Orlen S.A., Geology and Exploitation Branch; PGNiG in Warsaw
