The results of the new Times Higher Education Interdisciplinary Science Rankings 2025 have been announced for the first time, with 749 universities. Worldwide, AMU ranked between 301 and 350, while in Poland, it placed fourth. At the same time, the university is the highest-ranked non-technical university.
The best Polish universities in the ranking included:
- Gdansk University of Technology - 184th place in the world
- AGH University of Krakow - 201-250th place in the world
- Wrocław University of Technology - 201-250th Wrocław University of Technology
- Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań - 301-350th place in the world
- Krakow University of Technology - 351-400th place in the world.
The world's most interdisciplinary universities, according to the ranking, are Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Stanford University, National University of Singapore, California Institute of Technology, and Duke University.
The Interdisciplinary Science Rankings measure the contribution and commitment of universities to interdisciplinary science. The ranking methodology is based on three main domains representing the lifecycle stages of research projects: inputs, processes and outputs.
