We are delighted to announce that the team from the Faculty of Modern Languages Literatures and the Faculty of English under the supervision of Professor Tomasz Wicherkiewicz has received a prestigious grant from the European HORIZONT Heritage programme for the FOSTERLANG project Fostering Linguistic Capital: Strategies for Reversing the Diversity Crisis and Activating Societal Benefits in Europe.
The FOSTERLANG project consortium includes academic institutions and NGOs (Lemko, Wilam and Kashubian) from Poland, Catalonia (LinguaPax), the international language minority organisation ELEN; the German-Dutch Max Planck Institute for Psycholinguistics; and universities - from Poland (UW and AMU), the Basque Country, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Norway and Austria.
