A consortium of which the AMU Faculty of Chemistry is a member has been awarded nearly €5 million to develop the international SERP+ (Surface, Electro-, Radiation, and Photo-Chemistry) MSc programme!
The SERP+ programme is a cooperative venture of a consortium of four European universities: University of Paris-Saclay (project coordinator), Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, University of Porto and University of Genoa, with a new partner in this edition: McGill University of Montreal, Canada.
"We are honoured to be part of this consortium and to receive such significant support from the Erasmus Mundus programme," says Professor Tomasz Pędziński - AMU project coordinator, who played a crucial role in preparing the grant application. - "This grant not only emphasises the quality of our SERP+ initiative but also brings us into a new era of international cooperation implemented as part of Erasmus programmes," adds the scientist.
Each year, a group of 10-15 top students from all over the globe will have the opportunity to study at AMU for one semester and participate in advanced research projects. The SERP+ programme offers students the chance to acquire comprehensive knowledge, practical experience, access to the facilities and resources of partner universities, and the opportunity to develop a career in the global labour market and cultural exchange, fostering a worldwide perspective in scientific activity.
