Magdalena Wrembel has been awarded the Star of Internationalisation - Teaching Star!
Prof. Magdalena Wrembel is the Deputy Dean for Research at the AMU Faculty of English. She is the Head of the Bilingualism Matters Centre and a former Faculty Coordinator of the EPICUR project.
Her classes in English Linguistics, as well as her master's and doctoral seminars, are highly popular among international students. Prof. Wrembel actively develops international education programs, including intensive BIP Erasmus+ courses, in collaboration with partner universities in Norway, Iceland, and Germany.
The Stars of Internationalisation award is a recognition for people involved in the practical aspects of internationalisation – such as recruitment and marketing departments or Polish language schools – as well as for outstanding managers, academic teachers and researchers.
The award is granted by a jury consisting of representatives of all Polish institutions and organisations involved in the promotion of internationalisation. The jury is chaired by Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, President of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. This year, the awards were presented for the ninth time.
