Prof. Magdalena Musiał-Karg participated in the International Workshop in Preparation for the 2025 Seoul World Congress of IPSA 'Resisting Autocratization and Reinventing Democracy - Global Perspectives' and the IPSA Executive Committee meeting.
The deliberations were held at Seoul National University. One of the distinguished guests was former UN Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon.
The participants additionally had an opportunity to visit the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, the venue for the next IPSA Congress in 2025. The global meeting of political scientists - organised in collaboration with the Korean Political Science Association, is scheduled to be held from 12-16 July 2025 and will focus on the theme 'Resisting Autocratization in Polarised Societies'.
Prof. Magdalena Musiał-Karg, is Vice-Dean for Research and Development of the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism and President of the Polish Political Science Association. Since July 2023, she has been the only representative from Central and Eastern European countries to serve on the Executive Committee of the IPSA (International Political Science Association).
