Professor Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk, AMU Vice-Rector for Research, has been awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta

Professor Katarzyna Dziubalska-Kołaczyk, AMU Vice-Rector for Research, has been awarded the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta by the President of Poland, Andrzej Duda, for her outstanding achievements in research and teaching, as well as for promoting Polish scientific thought worldwide!

Professor Dziubalska-Kołaczyk is a linguist, a titular professor since 2003, and currently serves as the Vice-Rector for Research at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. She leads the School of Language and Literature Studies and the Priority Research Area in the humanities and social sciences under the Excellence Initiative – Research University. She is the founder (2012) and the first Dean of Poland’s first Faculty of English and the Head of the Department of Contemporary English and Multiligualism. The author of about 170 publications in phonology, phonetics, and language acquisition, she develops and promotes natural linguistics in her work.
