The World University Ranking, published by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), is one of the most prestigious and recognisable rankings in the world. In the 2025 edition, 1,503 universities were ranked, with the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, ranked 761-770.
The top-ranked universities were Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Imperial College London, University of Oxford, Harvard University, and University of Cambridge.
The latest edition of the ranking included 22 Polish universities, with the leading positions held by Warsaw University (258th in the world), Jagiellonian University (312th), and Warsaw University of Technology (527th). Thus, AMU was ranked 4th in Poland.
AMU received the highest score in the area of International Research Network building - 218th place in the world classification. This index assesses the sustainability and diversity of international research partnerships.
