Registration for the modern language certification examination for students who have a foreign language in their study programme

The AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre announces that two dates have been set for the certification exam in modern languages at the B2 level for students who have a foreign language in their study programme in the winter session of 2023/2024:

  • February 6, 2024 (Tuesday) 10.00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

The token registration for the above date shall start on January 26 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (Friday) and last until February 4, 2024, at midnight (Sunday).

  • February 15, 2024 (Thursday) 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. (amendment deadline)

Token registration for the above deadline will commence on February 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. (Friday) and will remain open until February 13, 2024, at midnight (Tuesday).

Enrollment will be accessible via the ul.amu.edu.pl platform ( login is done in the same way as, for the student account in the USOSweb system).

While registering for the exam, please pay attention to the exam location provided for students of the respective faculties.

Arrive at the exam approximately 30 minutes before the start of the exam and ensure that you have your ID card and student card with you.

PLEASE NOTE: Students who fail to complete the token registration for the exam on the specified dates will not be allowed to take the exam on the respective dates.

Those students with no intention of taking the exam on February 6 2024, DO NOT register for the 26.01-4.02.2024 deadline. An individual registration will be opened for the revision deadline.

The examination is conducted for full-time undergraduate students and long-cycle master's students who have passed the modern language course at the B2.2 level and the B2.1 level for the course having a dual major (60h/semester).

A prerequisite for registration for the certification examination is the realisation of a semester of coursework at level B2.2 (a grade entered in the USOS system). Students who pass the language course after January 26, 2024, will also be issued tokens (during the registration period), usually within 24 hours of the entry of the grade by the instructor.

NOTE: Students with conditional credit for a course or repeating a course: Certification Examination who have not received a token are required to contact the AMU Foreign Language Teaching Centre to have a further token assigned.
