Stanford University's ‘World's Top 2% Scientists’ list comprises the top researchers worldwide who are in the top 2% of scientists in terms of bibliometric indicators. This year, 36 scientists associated with AMU were ranked on the list.
The data used in the ranking comes from the Scopus database and is supplied by Elsevier. The ranking is based on a composite index (c-score) calculated from six citation metrics:
- Total number of citations (NC)
- H-Index (H)
- Hm-Index (H-index adjusted for the number of authors)
- Single-author citations (NCS)
- Single or first-author citations (NCSF)
- Works cited by a single, first or last author (NCSFL)
