The Perspektywy Educational Foundation and Intel, within the long-term cooperation to increase the participation of women in the new technology industry - are launching a new edition of a scholarship programme for female students in STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics).
In the previous edition of the programme, 50 female technology students received support.
The scholarship programme "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" aims at Ukrainian female students, PhD students and secondary school graduates (starting their technical studies in autumn 2024) who are in a tough financial/living situation due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The programme consists of:
- a 10-month financial grant of PLN 12,000 gross (paid in two instalments),
- technical and soft skills workshops with Intel Technology Poland experts,
- career counselling sessions, participation in the Buddies mentoring programme, and free participation in Perspectives Women in Tech 2025 - the largest event for women in STEM, Tech & IT in Europe and Asia.
The New Technologies for Women - Ukraine programme is open to applicants:
- Ukrainian female students and doctoral candidates who are studying STEM subjects at Polish technical universities and colleges (the list of
universities and faculties), - high school graduates from Ukraine starting their studies in the STEM area in the academic year 2024/2025,
In addition:
- applicants should speak English to a communicative degree,
- have the status of student/doctoral candidate for the whole of the following academic year,
- attach a certificate from the university confirming your student/doctoral status.
Recruitment to the "New Technologies for Women - Ukraine" programme is open until 30 June 2024. Applicants will be informed of the recruitment results by 30 August 2024.
