The AMU Centre for Cognitive Neuroscience is introducing a research tool to the University, which, in addition to serving scientists, also engages AMU students. The SONA Systems platform is used to recruit research participants and manage study enrolment.
‘"The system is a worldwide standard for research recruitment used in the best academic centres around the world," says Prof. Michał Klichowski, director of the CNP. He adds: ‘Its implementation will further enhance the potential of our academic community.
Each study has its own page containing all the necessary information and a study calendar, through which interested individuals can choose a convenient date. All AMU students can be research subjects. The platform might be used by all research personnel at AMU: employees, doctoral students and undergraduates. Each faculty of the University can create its own points system (called SONA points) on the platform, rewarding participation in scientific activities. Each student is assigned a code (called a SONA ID), ensuring their anonymity during the recruitment stage of the research.
