On 11-13 January 2024, the Symposium on Spintronics and Quantum Information 2024 was held at the Research and Conference Centre of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Bedlewo. It was the third symposium of the Institute of Spintronics and Quantum Information, but this time, it was held outside the Faculty of Physics.
The main objective behind the conference was to exchange knowledge and integrate the scientific community involved in research in the areas of spintronics, quantum information science and condensed matter physics. The symposium also provided an opportunity to present the results of research conducted by PhD students and young researchers.
The topics of the speeches covered, among others: spintronics and molecular magnetism, magnonics, spin waves and magnonic crystals, quantum computing and optics, chaos and quantum walks, quantum electrodynamics, transport in nanostructures, strongly correlated systems, quantum simulators and quantum matter, non-linear dynamics, topological states of matter or Josephson junctions and bound states in superconductors.
Detailed information, including a book of abstracts, is available on the symposium website.
Guests' attendance was made possible thanks to financial support from the Excellence Initiative - Research Univeristy programme.
